At Cimbria, we have grown to be market-leading Turnkey Specialist with great knowledge for development solutions- from small processing lines to large turnkey project.
Cimbria has delivered many complex installations around the world operating under very different conditions and with a wide variety of products. We design, develop, manufacture and install customer-specific solutions. Cimbria's underlying approach emphasizes increasing quality and energy efficiency, as well as reducing operating costs.
When we design turnkey plants, particular knowhow is used to create a total overview. This results in solutions that ensure that all parts of a plant are coordinated in an optimum manner – and that daily operations and subsequent after-sales service and maintenance are as straightforward as possible.
Cimbria’s total project competence provides our customers with a high level of safety, reassurance and attentiveness to their project, ensuring qualified performance in every aspect and complete integration and coordination of functions and components.
Under the supervision of the project manager a project group is appointed, composed of a number of specialists who within their respective fields each contribute to ensuring that their comprehensive specialist knowledge about machinery, electronics and buildings is used for the benefit of the project.
Tight project control contributes to an anchoring of the security and quality that are present in our products and project presentation.
Each and every process – from harvesting to the final use of the grain – requires specialist knowledge, whether intended for seed grain, human consumption, animal fodder or other applications.
Project design and engineering are key words in this respect, and Cimbria has the full in-house competence for producing plant design for seed and grain drying, processing and storage, port terminals and feed mills.
Project design and engineering are carried out by experienced in-house staff, consisting of mechanical, process, structural steel, civil and electrical and software engineers.
Process control is nothing less than the ‘central nervous system’ which controls the processes during operation. Since 1975, Cimbria has developed and integrated effective and reliable control systems into projects.
The Cimbria control system combines our many years of process experience with the latest technology. This is your guarantee that all installed machines operate at their optimal performance, thereby ensuring the best economy of the entire system throughout the lifetime of the plant.
In this respect, Cimbria’s obvious strength is that we have gathered our knowledge of processes, systems and automation into a single organisation, and by choosing Cimbria as an automation partner our customers get a properly dimensioned system based on modern technology and optimised functionality.
Serving customers is a fundamental aspect of Cimbria’s efficacy and business sense. This goes for project engineering and installation of the plant, as well as the subsequent guarantee of a smoothly running plant. Efficient electrical-mechanical after-sales service and the use of genuine Cimbria spare parts minimise downtime and production losses.
Cimbria and our local authorised partners offer exclusive after-sales service, providing the customer with qualified assistance at all times.
After-sales service not only includes spare parts service, but also regular maintenance services, plant check-ups and consulting services. A team of experienced engineers and technicians remains at the disposal of the respective plant operators and customers – also after handover of the plant.
Every single system is unique, and hence is delivered with specially adapted technical documentation that contains a complete installation manual with detailed instructions concerning its operation and a detailed maintenance guide.
As a supplement to personal advice, the manual offers rapid clarifications of possible questions, while at the same time ensuring proper operation. We always maintain complete documentation for each individual system.
No plant is complete until the people who have assumed responsibility for its daily operation know exactly how it should be operated, controlled and maintained.
Placed strategically, Cimbria has established test and training centres which provide teaching, instruction and training of all personnel who will subsequently work with our plants in their day-to-day work: Plant managers, plant operators and others.
At these facilities, we arrange both general courses and individually designed courses, tailored to qualify personnel for operation and maintenance of the plant.
The instructors we use are usually specialists from Cimbria’s own staff, although we also recruit external expertise in the case of specialised subjects lying outside our core areas of competence.
