Capwell Industries Limited was founded in 1999 with a milling factory in Thika, Kenya. Since then, the goal of this company has always been to offer safe and quality food products to the population and this they achieve using the latest state-of-the art technology and modern farming methods.
In 2006, Cimbria supplied maize grain handling equipment as part of Capwell milling expansion project. This included a fast intake, pre-cleaning and conveying solution capable of receiving grain and conveying at a capacity of over 50tons per hour with 5,500Mt Maize storage silos integrated into the existing production line and in 2018, Cimbria supplied wheat grain handling equipment and silos with a capacity of 13,000Mt.
As a result of the solutions offered in the form of equipment supplied, Capwell were able to enjoy the benefits of guaranteed continuous/un-interrupted safe food production. This is due to the various additional equipment installed on the grain processing line such as aspiration filters to ensure a dust free operation, a phostoxin tablet dispenser for fumigation of incoming grain for the silos, Temperature Monitoring Systems to ensure safe storage and control panels equipped with PC/PLC to automatically run the machines with the necessary safety and operational interlocks put in place.
Capwell Industries Ltd has grown to become a respectable partner since Africa is so strategic for the global food development. Cimbria has assisted in putting in place the necessary knowledge and skills in grain handling and processing to help make a difference and we are proud to be part of the process.
