Cimbria powers UMEX’s new terminals at the Port of Constanta, delivering 100,000 tons of storage capacity
UMEX is Romania's leading port terminals, located at the famous Port of Constanta. The port is one of the most important and traffic-heavy transshipment hubs for the greater Black Sea region, reporting over 100 million tons of cargo arriving annually. That number continues to rise.
Because of this, UMEX needed to increase its capacity significantly. We delivered two large-scale grain terminals, boasting 100,000 tons of storage capacity across eight silos. We installed a custom intake system, weighing bridges, Moduflex dust-free loading chutes, an underground discharging system, complex conveyor systems, and more.
