As part of the industrial enhancement project at its Izola facility, Atlantic Droga Kolinska sought to optimise the coffee processing line for Barcaffè coffee. After thorough research and evaluation of potential suppliers, it decided to put the optical sorting solutions to the test. This led the company to Cimbria’s test lab in Italy, where optical sorters are designed, produced and put to the test with customers’ products.

As Alberto Zaccaria, the Sales Manager responsible for Eastern Europe, explains, the SEA.IQ PLUS optical sorterr is a state-of-the-art sorting machine, equipped with RGB cameras, dual InGaAs technology, and in this case four channels. This advanced technology ensures the highest level of sorting precision and efficiency, making it ideal for coffee processing. With a capacity that lets it handle up to 12 tonnes of green coffee per hour, the SEA.IQ PLUS Optical Sorter guarantees exceptional performance and accuracy.
