A Strong Local Partner
We are so happy to announce a strategic partnership with Paulo Jorge Faustino de Sousa Veiga, a civil engineer with more than 20 years of experience across Sub-Saharan Africa.
Paulo’s extensive expertise spans both the agriculture and industrial sectors, giving him a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities within the region. He has also cultivated strong relationships with leading Danish companies, such as Haldor Topsoe and FLSmidth, making him a natural bridge between international innovation and local implementation.
Thanks to his deep knowledge of the region’s agricultural landscape and broad professional network, he is an ideal partner to help us introduce cutting-edge solutions to Angola and Mozambique.
A Mission to Make a Difference
The partnership is centered on three key goals that reflect Cimbria’s commitment to sustainable agriculture and food security:
- Reducing post-harvest losses – ensuring that crops retain their value from field to market.
- Adding value to locally grown crops – supporting farmers in producing higher-quality, market-ready products.
- Supporting sustainable development and food resilience – fostering long-term stability and self-sufficiency for communities.
Through these initiatives, we aim to strengthen local agriculture, improve productivity, and contribute to lasting food security, helping to build a more resilient agricultural ecosystem.
Hands-On Collaboration
Earlier this year, Paulo visited Cimbria’s Thisted facility in Denmark, where he received in-depth product training and explored the company’s comprehensive portfolio of solutions.
This hands-on experience equips him to implement the latest technologies and best practices directly in Angola and Mozambique, ensuring that local operations benefit from world-class expertise.
Just the Beginning
This partnership is a commitment to people, communities and the future of food in Sub-Saharan Africa. We’re already laying the groundwork for projects that will enhance agricultural productivity, empower local farmers and improve food security across the region — and we’re excited to see how it grows from here.
