In recent years Cimbria has successfully established the Cimbria brand in the coffee market. Due to the positive situation in the market, we have been able to position ourselves with respect to several projects, cooperatives and other major coffee traders who are looking into industrial solutions, away from local and low-tech equipment providers.
With respect to our strengthened position, Cimbria has been chosen as supplier of a green coffee processing installation at “Benefi cio el Cofre” which is the most modern coffee processing plant in Mexico. The coffee mill, owned by Louis Dreyfus SAS, is a privately owned company founded in 1851 and domiciled in Paris, France. Louis Dreyfus has grown into one of the largest and best-known dealers of green coffee in the world, trading over seven million bags annually. The Louis Dreyfus companies are present in more than 53 countries with 72 offi ces, and their clients include some of the largest international food companies, such as Kraft Foods, Nestlé, Sara Lee and Procter & Gamble. The warehouse and offi ce are constructed on a 3.5-hectare lot where 56.000 bags/60 kg can be stored on 6.000 m2 .
