A new strategic collaboration to strengthen solution provision in the world milling market

AGCO has signed a collaboration agreement with Ocrim, a primary world player in the production of mills, to penetrate the milling and storage market globally. The strategic alliance was signed on 29 June, with an official ceremony at the Ocrim headquarters in Cremona, where Sergio and Alberto Antolini, respectively President and CEO of Ocrim, welcomed our delegation represented by Stefan Caspari - Senior Vice President & General Manager, AGCO Grain and Protein, Stephan Buskies, Vice President & General Manager, AGCO Grain & Protein, EAME and by Ugo Balestrieri - Sales Director Seed & Food, AGCO Grain & Protein, EAME.

This agreement strengthens Cimbria's already effective collaboration with Ocrim, and aims to support milling companies around the world with a single interlocutor, capable of providing turnkey solutions of maximum efficiency and flexibility. This alliance allows access to a double wealth of knowledge: our know-how is combined with Ocrim's experience to guarantee customers an additional strategic and economic advantage.

“This is not just a business opportunity”, declares Stephan Buskies, “but a real journey to be taken together with the customer. For the milling and storage sector, the union of the forces of a player of the calibre of AGCO with those of Ocrim, translates into a guarantee of quality, customization and an increase in skills ".

“The world is changing, today's industrialized market is no longer looking for a supplier of conventional technology, but rather a reliable partner able to offer and supply multiple tailor-made solutions. I firmly believe that the future is projected towards a “Farm to Fork” solution and this partnership is the pillar of this philosophy”, declares Alberto Antolini, CEO of Ocrim.

“Sustainability and traceability are increasingly important concepts not only for our client companies, but above all for the final consumer. Therefore, the fact that we have pooled our specific skills will allow us to make a difference in a market that is increasingly demanding in terms of quality”, concludes Stephan Caspari.

The new collaboration, based on a common business vision that considers quality offer, customer attention, and process simplification as fundamental values, will help to optimize the productivity of milling companies, and improve food safety and sustainability. The integrated solutions will be customizable by customers according to their needs, and supported by the best technology in the industry.
