The Cimbria Academy

Adjacent to the main factory in Thisted, we have established the Cimbria Academy, a test and training centre, which is a centre for teaching, instructing and training of all the personnel who will subsequently to on to work with our plants in their day-to-day work: Plant managers, plant operators and others.

At this facility, we hold both general courses and individually designed courses, tailored to qualify personnel for commissioning, operation and maintenance of plants located a long way from Denmark, where special climatic and cultural conditions need to be taken into account.


The teachers we use are usually specialists from Cimbria’s own staff, but in the case of specialised subjects we also recruit external expertise.

Consultancy and Project Management


Consultancy based on in-depth and wide-ranging technological expertise and insigths into processes accompanies our products.

Our products and the reliability inherent in their design, construction and manufacture are further enhanced by strong project management. I our opinion, no plant is complete until the people who are assumed responsible for its daily operation know exactly how it should be operated, controlled and maintained.

Research  and Training     – Our Foundation

At the Cimbria Acadamy, theoretical insights are turned into valuable practical knowledge.
 

Our agrotechnical know-how based on intensive research and extensive experience is one of the management tools in our ongoing product development and in the universe of testing, consultancy, advice and training which is a part and parcel of what we call quality and safety.
 

The Cimbria Academy has been established as a natural element of this knowledge-gathering and -sharing. This is where most of our research takes place.
 

In a full-scale silo plant, we have installed a complete seed corn cleaning and drying plant. This means that we now have an extremely modern test and demonstration plant available to us where we can explain procedures, point out details and carry out tests. Realistic long-term trials which evolve over time help to ensure that the results are reliable and may be applied in practise.
 

The results of the research are incorporated into the consultancy which accompanies our machinery, plants and projects. And these results also control the direction of the intensive work which goes on in our development department.
